This 4-Star Diamond AAA rated hotel is located adjacent to Illinois State University in the heart of the town, close to shops and restaurants, blocks from Amtrak, with shuttle service to and from the airport.
The convention occupies all the meeting space on the second floor, with a roomy dealer room and art show space one floor below.
ChamaBanaCon's heart is the consuite, so we're providing two fantastic connecting hospitality suites located right next to the programming rooms. That's two bars, two flat-screen TVs (left in the off position for the weekend, if Splits has anything to say about it), loads of space for conversation and noshing.
The Marriott boasts a fine on-site restaurant, coffee shop, and bar, and is connected to a vintage theater. It's pool, hot tub, and exercise room are gorgeous.
Parking for hotel guests is free (and only $6/day for those not staying in the hotel), with a handy parking garage connected to the hotel by an enclosed sky-way.
Hucksters will enjoy easy access to the dealer room via loading docks. (Hear that, Glen? No more schlepping books in cold weather!)
